u can end up in depression for life and be 89 with no partner living wit 30 cats all over ur house n die without anyone knowing that u died and get eaten by dog and the stench of ur gross body will make the neighbors alert so they will call the cops to get ur body out to get buried and noone will come to ur funeral becuz u were in too much depression during ur life that u didnt make any friends...... sad.......very sad.........

The worst thing is that your in love with a idea not reality. You could sell everything you own so you don't have anywhere to be or have to pick up your home in a rush to move where ever they decide to live. It is also stalking and you can go to jail where someone else will more than likely be in love with you that you would rather not.

You'll obsess. Calls, emails, weird drunken voicemails. Than you get picked up by the cops for jerking off outside their bedroom window and you go to jail where you drop the soap and get raped. Thats probably the worst thing. But by the time you get out of jail you decide to become a homosexual so you end up not wanting to 'get' that girl eventhough you still love her.

you die of a broken bleeding heart that continues to seep all the life out of you until you are but a wilting daisy whose petals get blown away by the wind into the breeze, swirlng and twirling around until you soflty land in a meadow on some fresh cow manure than realise that all that was a bunch of crap anway so you should really move on and fertilise and become a beautiful daisy dancing happily in the green green meadow, where the grass is always greener on the other side...

The worst thing that can happen if somebody is in an unrequited love situation is to delay finding the one who will love him/her as much as s/he loves them. When we are stuck loving somebody who doesn't love us back the same way we waste valuable time in the search for that somebody special. This can lead to a very lonely life filled with pain. It can also lead to a lowered self esteem as it is not good for self esteem to feel constantly rejected, unwanted. Feeling wanted, valued, and loved leads to a higher level of self worth, and a over all level of well being. Allowing ones self to stay stuck in a unrequited love situation is damaging and hurtfull. Worse yet it can lead to resentment of the opposite sex which interferes in allowing the openness needed to let another who will truly love him/her into his/her life. Which is just plain sad. Move on with life, don't allow yourself to stay stuck in a situation so damaging to self. It is not worth it. This IS a choice by the way: to stay stuck in such a situation. You will marry 2nd best. Get divorced, probably a couple of times. Be miserable, and eventually die an unhappy life.

My mother left my father 13yrs ago and my father is still obssessed with getting her back...Its crazy.He drinks alot and cry alot....STILL. So i guess the worst that can happen is you spend a life time being miserable.And that is sooooo sad considering you only have one life.If that is your situation, i would try hard to get over it and move on.

You end up with someone who is second best, and you spend the rest of your life wondering "What if"? you will never be truly happy and then one day out of the blue, your c@ck will fall off.

u could go mentally insane and have a psychotic break thinking the one u love is inside your head and get hospitalized and drugged and lose your job and your family would only visit once a year.
