I have put this off for a year now. I wont have any problem picking a color. I just dont feel like moving furniture, going to work every other day while I am doing it, spackling nail holes, taping , etc... I feel like I am being lazy but there are so many other fun things to do that I put it off. But when I see a pretty comforter or bedspread I want to buy it and work the color around it. Help motivate me.....

Hi, we hired someone to paint our walls--actually no one professional--just a friend who's house we liked.

She needed some work & we needed a painter.

After she did one wall, I could see the pt of it all. Professional painters though for one room don't cost very much at all.

You can also check out the student painters companies because they would cost a lot less but are trained to be good.

Or just paint one section of one wall with the color or just one whole wall.

Maybe just seeing the paint on the wall will help you "get up and go"

Have a paint party, and invite some of your friends over to help you do it. Supply pizza and drinks (save the alcohol until after the work is finished, though!), and some fun music. Let your friends know that you are willing to return the favour. Before you know it, you will have started a group tradition!

This is actually a great idea- have a room decorating party! Invite your closest buddies over (tell them the plan 1st!) and serve wine and cheese or something while everyone helps you with the job. Afterwards you spring for dinner- pizza, takeout, burgers on the grill- whatever, to thank them for their hard work. Not only will it get done faster, you'll have a great time doing it!

Have a paint Party...buy everyone a brush and apron and put them in a bucket. Have great music and pizza and drinks and it will be done in no time. Go to HGTV.com for more party ideas.

Put on music, get a couple of friends, and do it! And afterwards order a pizza or something like that. Make a party of it! And afterwards, you can enjoy your beautful new walls and comforter.

Ummm... "If you never fall, you'll never know what getting up is like right?" "Everything falls right in front of your eyes when you least expect it." "God never said earth is perfect, but he looked and said "its good". "Nobody said life was gonna be perfect, but its gonna be worth it." I hope those helped. Goodluckkk(=
