ive been with my guy for 15 months now, and we're very happy together, and i'm really attached to him. i love him like crazy and ive never felt this way ANYONE. i sometimes cant even stand my family and friends but not with him. im afraid that i'm too close to him. cuz what comes up must come down and i dont want to hurt so much when that 'down' happens. i really dont want it to ever happen but my guys pursuing in his career on becoming a CHP officer and will have to move and go to an academy for 26 weeks and then move up north from cali. and sooner or later he gonna have to leave me behind. how can i prepare for this possible heartbreak?

most of you are saying go with him, i really want to, i mean we live together now but i'm afraid the academy might give him a change of heart

Why don't you guys move together? Or is that too big of a step? If he feels the same way about you as you feel about him, then he should be going through heartbreak also. If the move is too big of a step, just remember that long distance relationships are never easy. You guys have to communicate a lot more. But anything is possible when you are in love :o)

Well if you stress on what might happen in the future now the great relationship your having right now will start seeming less great...I say if you are having a great time and you both enjoy each other continue to do that and don't worry about what is going to happen let things happen . you don't know maybe he will ask you to go with him? or he may rethink were he goes , but you can't see into the future and you can't make things change so just enjoy him while you have him.....everyone has to go thru a heartbreak but isn't it better that you got a chance to get to know him and love him then to have never had known that feeling at all??

Babe I know exactly how you are feeling, and the truth is you can not stop this from happening. Your problem relates to my prblem in a huge way. The difference is my relationship fell apart and left me feeling like I had noone. All you can do is give your relationship 100%. Keep your own interests and friends around you, and try not to lose YOU! Then in the (hopefully unlikely) event that you and your boy split up you always have yourself, your wants and your life to keep you going! x

What goes up doesn't always come down! Relationships take work and granted you may not agree on everything through time but you can always have what you have now if you both want it. Why can't you follow him?

thats something you cant prepare for, trust me i know, u can either break up with him now, as not to prolong it, or you can cherish the time you do have together, also what makes you think you will be left behind

enjoy the time you have with him and if your so in love with him move with him and stay by his side that is if it ok with him and don;t worry you will fall in love again with someone else just learn to move on
