The most important thing is to feel pretty and attractive within yourself. If you feel that way mentally, it will show on the outside too.
If you have confidence in yourself, and who you are - that will radiate and will be seen by people around you. It's not just that first impression, true beauty comes from the inside!
You see supermodels and pin-ups, some probably have really nasty and mean characters as soon as they open their mouths!
You only have one life, so be happy with who you are, and enjoy it in the best way that you can.... Who cares what anyone else thinks, if they are judging you on your appearance, they're not worth knowing anyway!

Your weight should be in proportion with your height. You are still too young msaybe your weight anh height will be more. You can measure your weight in an ideal,if you decrease your weight in kg by the formula how many cm is your height and then less 110
For example if your height is 180 cm so your ideal weight is 180 minus 110 = 70 kg.If you want to be more heavy your weight can be 80 kg that is 180 minus 100 as a maximum weight. If your weight is more than that you have an overweight or obesity. It is better if you consult to a doctor how the best way to decrease your weight by unharming your health. The most important for you is your health and then your pretty which will have a proportional body between your height and your weight

I have recently over the past year lost 35lbs. I went from 145lbs to 110lbs. I thought once I lost the weight I would feel more pretty or that I would be even more happy. But what I am finding is that I can't reach a weight where I am pleased. When I look in the mirror I still see that fat girl no matter how much I have accomplished. My advice is, yea try to be healthier but also figure out a way to love yourself and be happy with whatever weight you are. You can be pretty at 180lbs or 130lbs. Self-confidence is what makes you pretty and attractive to people.

You don't have to be 130 lbs to be pretty! If you need to loose weight because you are above your healthy IMC (http://www.prevention.com/bmicalculator/0,5766,s1-2-0-0-1476-1,00.html). If you are above what is considered healthy consider loosing weight one step at the time 50lbs is a lot of changes for your body and sadly no miracle diets will help. Start making small changes in your life, stop eating sugary snacks when you come back from school, eat yogurt instead of cookies for lunch, make sure you do not drink too much fruit juices etc. Please I urge you not to fall for a diet (Atkins, south beach ...) at your age it's especially important to eat all nutriments (even fat is important to your development). Also, weight loss cannot be achieved without sports, find what you like whether it be yoga, dance, football, jogging or even begin by taking long walks or taking the stairs.
But please do it to be healthy in the end because you are already pretty!
If you need one really good trick is drink a lot of water because a lot of times that your body tells you that you are hungry, it is because it actually wants the water that can be found in food. Also, it will cleanse your body, try to drink little sips but often and about 1 L per day.

Hey Ur only 16, if you want to lose weight do it slowly, and do it for the right reason, and NOT because a magazine say you should be thin, I think 50 is way to much for you, just watch what you eat and do alot of walking and thing, meaning don't sit and watch TV all day or in front of this computer lol, take time to be active....O and by the pics you shown here you are very very pretty you have killer eyes, and good hair and face, Ur really a pretty girl, just remember Ur ONLY 16 Ur still growing up....just take it slow.....:))

girl, everyone has different looks. It depends on whats on the inside and how u treat ur self and others. I'll tell u though, i was once 226, in 2 yrs of watching what i ate and excerise and went down to 156, after 2 more i made it to now at 148. Just beware of what u eat and put some activities in. In 4 yrs i went from 24 to 13, and i wasnt fully rushin it. Just try ur best in a safe way, and hopefully a good reason. Its whats on the inside that counts.

I think your beautiful the way you are. But losing weight can't hurt. You carry your weight well on your frame. 130 lbs is would be an improvement in my opinion but then again you're young and you may grow several more inches in the next few years and you don't want to be a beanpole. I guess all in all. Just make sure you are happy with yourself and don't be persuaded to be someone other than you. Lose the weight if it makes you happy.

There's nothing wrong with you the way you are, and if you have a poor image of yourself then no matter how much weight you lose you are still not going to be happy with yourself, i would advise you to sort your head out first (don't mean that in a nasty way) and start liking yourself for who you are before anything else, thoughts like that are how ppl end up becoming anorexic, because they think they need to lose weight etc because they are not happy with their own self image, unfortunately when they have lost the weight they still think they need to lose more etc to make them happy and i can tell you it is a downward spiral that is very hard to get out of!!! Instead of trying to lose weight why not get down to the gym and work out and turn any excess you have into muscle.

A good proportioned healthy eating life style of veggies, fruit , white meats, fish and whole grains. Lots of water, natural favored juices. Exercise every other day.
