i think semi is way better -you do not have a lot of breakage compared to a permanent color....Beautiful Collection makes really good semi-it comes in a burnt orange bottle and you can find this product at the African American beauty stores they cost like 3.99 a bottle...

First of all, go easy on the relaxers because that stuff can damage your hair and your scalp. Secondly, you are better off with a rinse, if you can find a good one. Anything permanent has the potential to damage your hair. Ask your stylist. Also, when in doubt, do a spot-test. You don't want to screw up your whole head.
Sally's has a temporary rinse that I really love. I can't remember the name of it, but it comes in little single-use envelopes and they usually carry them in the back in the hair color aisle. The packages are usually hot pink or tan. This stuff is great for relaxed hair. Very mild and the colors are really pretty.

Okay if you perm your hair. It is best to go to a pro for one or both, those chemicals on your sweet head will break it off.
A special mix of color with low ammonia is needed. Girl~ spend the money, its your hair!
