Your mom and little brother should be taking responsibility for the dog. He should be properly housetrained and given lots of attention when they are around. It is mainly their responsibility, and I am sure you wouldn't mind helping out if you are not expected (or blackmailed) to do the majority of the work. In the end, the poor dog suffers the most.
As for the computer, you can either go to your local library to access the internet for free, or you can go to an internet cafe (most have reasonable rates).

If your mother is behaving the way you said, then it is wrong! Blackmailing is always wrong!
Your mother and your brother should have thought of the problems a dog could create in a house. It is my opinion that if they had to get this dog then they should feel responsible to either clean the mess ,the dog makes, which as you put it it is impossible, since your mother work long hours and you brother is to young to carry out the chore, or to have the good sense, from your mother's side, to teach their pet where to do it's natural needs.
I sympathise with you! It's not fair that people burden other people with their problems.

Everybody as you can see has their own opinion. It's my opinion that it's wrong since you weren't the one that asked for or wanted the dog. However, it is her house and her rules. If you really don't want to clean up after the dog, then learn to live without the computer. Otherwise you need to have a talk with her even though by the sound of it, it won't do any good

you know, my dad also wants to get a dog...
he says its for companionship, when the dog can accompany him when he wants to go for walks...
however, the whole family is against it because 1) we have a small house, 2) he is away from home a lot, 3) we have no experience of looking after any sort of pet.
i know its tough that you have to put up with that crap, and that they are taking no responsibility for cleaning up the mess...
for you, i think the question is, do you want to live in that sort of dirty, smelly environment a not? if you are grossed out by dog piss, all the more to make it go away...
then, try to teach the dogs some tricks, or take initiative to take the dog for walks during the day, train the dog to do its business during those walks.
your mum is wrong! however, she has no alternative...like you said...she has to work...and your brother is at school.....
do something about it instead of being angry...
trust me...its the better way out...

I think it was probably a bad idea to get the dog but I'm not in charge of your house - your mom is in charge of your house and she shouldn't have to blackmail you to do anything. You should clean up after the dog to help out. How can you make things better? Work on training the dog. Take a book out of your local library to read about housebreaking. It's not hard once you know how to do it.

hum well I feel sad for you. It isn't just your responsibility. Your mother is the adult and it should be her doing since it was her decision to get a dog. I'm sure you could help though right. It would be easier for you to help if she didn't make you though and to hold the computer over your head like that isn't right. Talk to her about allowance. I am a mom and I would never to that to my children. maybe if it doesn't work out you can help find a better home for the dog. worse comes to worse it can always get lost right!:) well good luck on having a clean home and a poop free home :)

Do you have a fenced backyard the dog can stay in during the day? My dog is kennel trained and sleeps in it at night so no messes in the house. If not, I'd take dog to the animal shelter or humane society and hope mom won't go looking for it!

wow, she's not exactly setting a good example for you or your little brother is she? Why don't you tell her to lead by example instead of trying to bribe you into doing something that is her responsibility...that being cleaning up after her stinky dog.
Try giving the dog away to someone who has the time to care for it. Maybe that'l wake your mother up a bit.
Sounds like she needs a reality check to me.

What she is doing is wrong. With pets comes responsability and if she can't commit to that dog now she won't commit to it later. If I were you I would bring that dog to a shelter and find it a better home. Once she can take care of it, she can have another dog.
