Dachshunds are the coolest dogs ever. I got mine when he was 8 weeks old and he was so tiny and cute. My is a mini dachshund. What I did when I was trying to learn more about them I just went on yahoo and google and typed in dachshund and a bunch of websites came up and I just clicked on all of them. When they grow up and they start running, they look like a speeding bullet and when you watch them run from behind it is so funny. They are very smart and easy to train. If you are getting a short haired one, they do not shed that much at all. You will fall in love with your new puppy when you first see it. Good luck with your new puppy.

You want a daschund, right? I would also recommend going to an animal shelter. If you MUST have a daschund, sometimes they have some there.

If you can't spell it, you shouldn't buy it. Seriously, don't get a puppy. Rescue a young adult weiner dog or other breed. There are so many out there, and the experience is so much more rewarding.
