Doctors say that I have IBS but I'm not sure that is what it is. I have so much pain in my upper adominal area that I break out into a sweat, lose my vision and now according to my co-workers I turn white as a ghost. Does this happen to some of you when you have pain or IBS attacks, whatever you want to call it.

I have IBS. My stomach (upper abdominal) hurts a lot. My husband can't even put his arms around me with it hurting. Sometimes it hurts just to hug him. Although I've never broken out into a sweat wtih it.
I have had so many different answers.1 Dr said it was the acid refulx. Antoher said I didn't even have acid reflux! and that it was IBS. Some say it is stress and nerves. My gastroenterologist told me it was a combination of all those.

When the Dr pushes on it, Ohhhhh..... the pain! I can hardly speak when they do that. And it keeps on hurting. It does eventually go away.. EVENTUALLY!

I have IBS and before I got it under control it was extremely painful. I take a prescription medication called Bentyl. It's an anit-spasmodic and it stopped the pain and helps me keep the IBS under control.

Have you had your gallbladder checked? Your symptoms sound like a gallbladder attack.
