Depends on the guy, the technique, how obvious and if the girl knows basic social signs or if she is one of those square kinds that sits in front of computer for every social interaction...
do a yahoo search on "being a player" and "seduction techniques" there is a bunch out there telling men how to act with women. Unfortunately (cuz I am a woman) many of these techniques work.

Not all the time. Because sometimes people are just overly friendly and send off the wrong messages so it's hard to distinguish someone hitting on you or harmless flirting. We rely on you to be direct. There's nothing worse then thinking someone wants you when all they want is to be friends!

yes of course! most of us are able to sense it, from the tone, words, and body language. if i'm not interested in that guy, i will just ignore it, and not give him any more chance to flirt.

I don't. My boyfriend says these guys are just trying to get in my pants but I thought they were just talking to me and being my friend.

yes and usually I hate it and it makes me extremely uncomfortable. I trust men just about as far as I can throw them!
