Dude octopus is awesome! I love the spicy octopus from Korea. Ok, the weirdest thing I ate...degouti - It is a typical dish in Ivory Coast (West Africa)...an oversized rat steak. I didn't know what it was, but the meat was sour and tangy...I told them the meat was bad and they told me that that is how it tastes. I saw the size of a live one...they are hideous...I can't believe i ate it!!!
I lived all around and like to try new things at least once. Other strange things I ate: Crocodile (not bad), Fried maggots (Not good), Jungle Snails (Good in pasta sauce), Cockroach egg (this was not on purpose but somehow on my pizza in Ivory Coast...nasty bitter), bat (not bad)...

While living in Florida I tried a delicasy in a expensive restuarant: lobster liver. It was a green and slimy piece of meat that was about the size of a quarter. I took one bite and thought I was going to..... As I said EXPENSIVE restuarant with execs all around, so I had to swallow it. Never ever again!

Only snails in France but the sauce was devine but otherwise nothing exotic - they eat dog in Taiwan? Don't know where to draw the line in what is acceptable, down to personal taste maybe.

Balut (Fertilized duck egg). Boiled and eaten with salt, the balut is a half-formed duck embryo which is a popular appetizer in the Philippines.

Spleen.
A friend of mine suggested that I order the "mixed grill." There was one part of it that tasted better than the others and I asked my friend what it was. He told me - in Hebrew.
My mistake was looking up the term in English.
Moral of the story: if it tastes good, enjoy it and don't ask too many questions.

I have eaten so many stuff like Ox brain, tongue, tail, palm, intestine, heart and liver.
When these are cooked with the right ingredients, they make really nice cuisine.
