I have an anniversary to go to this coming weekend I havent seen some of the people that will be attending so I want a super hot up-do to knock everyone off thier feet but I dont want anything overly dressy just simple but sofisticated and nice at once my hair is at the top of my shoulders and layered wavy and thick, any ideas or free online sites I could browse??

It sounds like you have really nice hair. Firstly you could speak to a hairdresser for ideas, or if you don't have time for that, blow dry it straight. Nothing looks as good as straight hair left down.
Putting your hair up might look too much, and you don't want to look older (i personally think putting hair up makes anyone look older) - plus i hate hairspray.
Perhaps you could wear a strapless dress with your hair down (maybe backless dress?) and a nice delicate silver necklace.
Just be yourself - sexiness comes from confidence.

A french twist is always classy but might seen over the top. What about a super straight ponytail? Those can be dressed up so nicely but you have to have it done at the salon.
