When you bvuy a set of kitchen knives from the dollar store are you supposed to cut that plastic ring off off the wooden handle? I've been using mine forever with out cutting it off. Is that okay?

What does this have to do with immagration? Hello the knives were made in Mexico. That means they were imported (maybe illegally) here. Duh.....

Joe and his guitar why do you keep acting like I am illegal I'm not!!! Fourth generation on both sides. Except for my moms dad they've been here forever. Suck on that!

Some of those plastic rings are there so you can hang them on a rack.

Sure you can, aslong you keep it clean. I use Zwilling 4 stars set my self and do not have any rings on them.

Yes remove them in order to wash properly so you cant spread bacteria.
