Area 51 is used to keep the publics attention away from other areas that are used to develop top secret weapons. Utah has been used to develop top secret projects such as plasma and particle beam weapons. If man can imagine it the government will try to develop it. I would think Iran which is trying to possess technology that is over 50 years old should think about what has been developed since the first atomic weapons were used. If our government was truly worried about Iran's development of nuclear weapons we would have destroyed it already. Its like comparing BB guns to M-16's.

Area 51 is the holding area for alien artifacts that have been recovered by NASA and the USAF over the last 50 years. THe most significant is the beacon which was recovered during the 1971 moon mission of apollo 15. This is a strange and complex piece of machinery of unknown substance and origin which contains alien writing as yet undecoded. Also since 1947 there have been several crashes of alien recon spacecraft in areas of the US and these are held in special areas and continually being studied. These craft were powered by energy sources that are far beyond our human comprehension.

"Area 51" is a site for testing brand new Air Force technology. For defense purposes this is kept highly secret. It is a center for some of the most top secret projects this country is working on, so naturally, they will be secretive about the whole base in general to stop anyone from learning how they could gain access to it, or how they could see what was going on inside.

I believe its an area where they tested the nuclear bomb and the people who lived close by have been exposed to radiation and they became freaks and abnormal. And they keep them isolated.

So i think the pentagon is hiding that from the public.

Advanced military projects. They have stuff cooking there that much of the rest of the world can't even dream of, and that's the way the government likes it (and I agree). If they can't dream of it, they can't steal it or copy it.

Maybe they would like to test their new technologies without anyone seeing. Just like any buisness or corporation would hide their new product until it had been fully tested. Aliens,Huh?!?!?
