Are you smoking in front of him while he's naked? How do you know he's "reacting" quicker when you smoke? But if this is truly an etiquette question and not just about sex, my answer is a smoker should never smoke around a non-smoker. Second-hand smoke is worse than inhaling from the cigarette. As a smoker, I never smoke around a non-smoker. I know that it is smelly. I wait until after the date, or if it is a long date, I bluntly state I need a fix and go to an area that allows me to smoke. But I also came to realize if I can't control my urges for long periods of time, the addiction has gone too far.

First of all,ignore all those shallow answers and dont let them hurt you,you are who you are,you aint a whore and you aint a cheap trump..he probably gets turned on cause i assume in his mind,gals who smoke are naughty,not to mention adventorous in bed!!thogh dont smoke purposefully be a crazy one and get his juices flowing in a healthier less stinky manner..and love doesnt seperate smokers and non smokers.if you feel uncomfortable smoking infront of him go in the kitchen or somewhere a lil away from him to have a puff..but dont stop smoking infront of him because you are embarrased of ur habits its a bad habit of course which u need to stop but you shudnt pretend.another thing,talk to him about ur habit so that you could know exactly his feelings wether he is ok with it or not.incase he is not ok with it,try to reach a compromise or a solution.i smoke but my boyfriend doesnt though i try not to smoke too much when am around him,its good to do so since you reduce the number of cigarretes u smoke,the less u smoke the better the chances of leaving a healthy life.

It can be because it makes him angry! Most men can have great sex when upset. If he is not a smoker and he cares about you it would make him upset to know that the person he is seeing is going to die from lung cancer becuase of smoking.

I don't mean to offend you but it sounds like when he sees you smoking it reminds him of being with a "dirty girl" who is willing to do things like smoke and have sex outside of marriage. Looking at the first half of your question, I was going to say that a person shouldn't be under the control of anything and so it would be polite for you to refrain from smoking in the presence of someone who doesn't smoke. But after reading the rest of what you wrote it looks like you really need to consider your over all behavior and attitude towards life in general.
Why don't you start going to church or something and learn to live a life where you see yourself as a child of God who is worthy of respect and honor and not as someone who is looking to find an excuse to smoke in front of a person so that you can behave like a cheap tramp. :o(

if it gets him horny and you and he both like that; then why not just smoke. unless he is annoyed or allergic by the smoke. I would ask him and get the real answer just to be sure.
