does anyone know how strict glasgow int airport are being on the hand luggage, the new requirements are 45x35x16 cm , i just wondered if anyone had flown overseas in last 24/48 hours, and if we could get away with an extra cm here and there on the above measurement? we are due to fly to tunisia on sunday, with thomas cook

I have not flown in the last 24 hours but Newsnight Scotland gave a fairly dismal report last night which is suggesting very tight security. I was paying attention as my elderly auntie is travelling on Saturday and our family are responsible for her safety. Hope this helps. The police are not just talking short term security now but 'very' long term.

i dont think they will be very lenient, i dont think u can take hand luggage aboard yet, can u?
