Girl no no no no no. You may get stuck with some retard calling you all the time. If the noid can't be patient with just chatting find a new chat buddy. I did it ONE time and will NEVER do it again. You never know what kind of weirdo you're chatting with. Get to know them better before sharing your personal information.

No way! Maybe after talking for a while, like a month. You don't want to worry about having some guy calling you constantly or worse. People can get addresses from knowing your phone number then you would have a stalker! EEKKK

I did a long time ago when I was lonely. I was stupid too cause I'd give it to anyone, before I even talked to them. But, you probably wanna try & get to know the person the best you can online & maybe try & talk to each other with microphones online too, before you give your number out or an address. It's better to be safe than sorry.

Not really a very good idea. By giving someone your phone number you give them basically everything they need. With the net and a phone number I can get your name and address. From there I can get your age and sex and even SS# and drivers license number. Not to mention pranks on top of identity theft. Not a good idea to give out your number.

After the first chat is naive.
I've given mine out, but it was after a month. Phone numbers can be traced back to you, where you live, what your bank records are - they can help aid identity theft.

absoluutly not. it is not secure to give phone numbers, personal details or credit card information over the internet to a stranger who you dont know.
Today there are far to many dangerous people out there who will take advantage of good people.
