I do think today's society is very messed up. Morality is out the window and anything goes. It makes me sad to see how selfishness is destroying so many lives.

I think that people have always acted in pretty much the same way; the majority do what they want, and only a faithful few choose to do what God commands.
Just like in the time of Noah, people will continue to live as they will, until the time comes when, without warning or sign, Jesus will return and it will be too late to change (Matthew 24:37-39).

Definatly not. The world has become more and more evil over the past years. Now there are actually people who want to kill other people and be harmful to the world. There wasn't much of that in the time of Noah. Everyone was nicer and the world was a much better place to live in. You've got to be very careful now a days.

Most definitely. And God is equally as displeased. But just like in the days of Noah....
Let's see, the catostophic disaster then was a flood.
Today, the Tsunami, Hurricane Katrina, ---disasters that are getting more frequent.
If I had never picked up the bible before, I sure would be doing it right about now.

It is interesting that you bring that up because I am sure that Noah probably tried to warn everyone ahead of time. I believe that after about 3 days of non-stop raining people started to think that Noah might have been on to something.

What? Those people were just going about their business just like today. Having weddings and doing their jobs and all that.
I don't believe that story at all anyway. In the story all those people just had to be painted as horribly evil so god wouldn't look like such a monster for drowning the lot of them.

God said he wouldn't flood the earth again. People who believe and don't believe are living and working right next to each other. Today's nonbeliever is tomorrow's believer in many cases.
“The Lord neither shatters your illusions nor stifles your desires. Instead, He bends them towards truth and good.”

No one is going to be burned. Jesus makes sure of that. Life is life and people will act the way they will. The Old Testament is a tribute to the way life was BEFORE jesus was born. Those things do not hold true anymore. You're not going to hell because you cheated, or ate shell-fish or pigs.. that's not going to happen.. because Jesus took on our sins.. and we are all going to be given the chance to be forgiven..
People will be who they are, and act as they will. Moral or not, it's not going to matter once they're dead.
