Have you tried the Flying Spaghetti Monster?

Salam (peace)!
We make many prayers and hope for them to be accepted. And God answers every single prayer but God doesn't always give you everything you want right away. As a Muslim, we believe that whenever you make a dua (supplication or prayer), it gets accepted in either of these forms:
~ Your prayer gets answered and you get what you ask for
~ Your prayer saves you from something that might happen to you
~ Your prayer is saved for Afterlife where you will be granted far more than you asked for and you would wish all of your prayers were saved for Afterlife
If you feel that your prayer is not being answered, do not give up. Be patient. God (Allah) has better plans for you. Sometimes He might test us and see how much we truly love Him and we can show that by being patient. And don't forget that this life is all but a test for all of us. We will be rewarded if we show patience, perseverance and firmness in our faith.
I hope i answered you well inshallah (God Willing).
Take care.

What happens in your life is largely determined by your own actions. Stop waiting around for something else to do things for you and make your OWN destiny.

God never helped me, either. It takes a lot of hard work and countless mistakes to get what you want, and there's no other way around it. It's scary and overwhelming, but for every obstacle you overcome you will know at the very core of your being that it was YOUR power that did it- not God.

Or, if you still wish to retain your beliefs, how about this:

God made the sky and the land and the animals, and he also made you. If God is a "perfect" being, and you are created in his image, then He must have made you with everything you need. What a disappointment you must be if He gave you all the ability to do amazing things and choose your own destiny and you don't use His gift!

Conversion is not going to be of any help. I have observed that such experiments always fail.
Out here in India, one often comes across Hindus converting to Christianity, and vice versa. But the people who convert remain all the same.Their lives don't become any better. We also have westerners doing Yoga and meditation. But I just can't seem to tell the difference....because there isn't any!!

Does prayer work? Hundreds of millions prayed for God to stop Hitler, but God did nothing and 30 million+ died. Either God is heartless, powerless, both, or does not exist at all.

Have you tried Donism.

Donism is a religion founded by me, Don. I am a fully authorized and licensed representative of God. I am smarter and better looking than you and 99.9% of the human race.

Please consider repenting of your sins and then studying the wit and wisdom of me, Don, on Yahoo Answers. If you do this sincerely, then I will give you a quiz that you must pass in order to be accepted into the Church of Don.

Cod bless you!

Perhaps it's not the right time or the answer is no because he has better plans for you. You can convert if you want to but that just shows you're a self centered brat with no faith. Final decision is still with you.

God is answering you always , you believe it or not, He may not answering you always as soon as you want it... But, he will answer you... He knows the best time and the best thing to give,,,
And the other way the thing that you were asking from God maybe not suits you.. You may not understand it now, But you will realise it later.. Because he knows the best

I am a Christian and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and the holy bible , I used to pray and wondered if he ever heard me ,but I never gave up , I felt if I didnt believe in him I would have nothing to believe in , and one day on june 19 2000 he filled me with his holy spirit and I spoke in tongues! then on Nov 1 2000 he appeared to me ,having a bright face like the sun! and a rainbow over his head and his clothes the color of a cloud, and I was amazed to see that it matched Ez 1:28 and Rev 10:1 and when Jesus was transfigured on the mount, all matched the bible, that it was Jesus!Like Jesus said if you dont believe him believe the works he does.

Religion will not get your prayers answered, but your faith in God and patients in His timing will. You can't rush perfection. God has perfect timing. He also might not give you what you want for your own good, and may have something better for you in your future. You have to trust in Him. all the way.

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
