Yes to both, God is material and we are spiritual. God is all there is, so we are the senses of God, so that God my know God.

You wrote: "Is God material or are we all spiritual? If truly only God existed before anything else, not even space/time, NOTHING, NADA; then everything else in existence must have emanated OUT OF God since by him creating the world, there was no other substance besides himself which he used since there was only him! Therefore, everything in the universe (stars, planets, stones etc) came OUT OF GOD!"
In the sense that the words "God" and "Cosmos" are synonymous with each other, I agree with you. As a Reincarnationist I know that all people and things are starstuff, all things and people are eternal qualities emanating from one and the same source. This 'God' you speak of, however, is not Jehovah, and is not described in the bible. The god Jehovah is a mythological war god of an ancient tribal people, which was invented by men who were incapable of understanding the real nature of the Cosmos.

"Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made." John 1:3
All material things do indeed come from God. Does this mean all material is God? I do not believe it does, but I do believe the connection between God's self and ourselves, his/her creation, is much more closely linked and God like than most fundamentalists would be comfortable admitting.

Could be, but is this kind of pondering necessary for you Guy?
Since we may never know for sure about the very beginning, except what God will tell us, think about the more important things, like what he has in store for you. Things he has told you about.

That's right, although I don't agree with the first person who answered. I'm Christian.. I believe in all the jazz that other Christians do.. but I don't think that all other religions are the work of the devil.. COME ON... they believe in something. Every culture has some higher power to believe in.. essentially we all believe the same thing.. boil it down and we all believe that there is a God.. isn't that all that matters??? To believe in something?

To understand God, you do not have to enforce your brain because logic is a shadow of creation unable to understand the creator. But if you look at your heart and feel the love in your life and all around you you'd ask yourself eventually "who in the world loves me so much to provide all these for me?"
Well, that's God. Nothing really matters without love and that's a crucial key to understand life.

The material world did not "come out of God". He created it. He spoke it into existence.

God created all of us,That does not mean that we are all spirituals. We have to become spiritual and that is what Gods us to become and He wants us to love HIM.He created us since human beings are intelligent and brainy compared to all other species.
