Definitely.
Truth is always simple. It is the lies and false concepts that have been implanted into this civilization that create the complexities.

Yes, many do.
I suggest reading John's Gospel in the New Testament of the Bible in an easy to read translation such as the New Living Bible. God's Word speaks for itself
Read Romans 1 v 18-20
and 1 Corinthians chapter 1 verses 18-20

Firstly religion is complicated because we believe in something we don`t see. Nevertheless our atempt to understand God is not lost in words, remember their are some people who are not able to read and write but they still believe in the exisitance of God through nature, Prayer and Miracles.
God will never want us to get lost, if we seek him through prayer he will make us understand him.
Of course there is a a reason to think that all is simple and we complicate things because we seek self first than god. If we denouce self and seek god first all would be simple and straight forward

I think what God wants most is for us to seek Him and interact with Him. That's almost the very first lesson in the Bible. If you threw out all the rest of the books and took that lesson, I think you'd be well on your way. (you shouldn't throw out the rest because there's some awsome stuff in there)
As a Christian I believe you have to also believe in and follow Jesus, who is also an aspect of God. We often make it seem more complicated by arguing and fighting over this passage or that scripture. Jesus laid it out pretty simply: Love God, love each other, try not to sin, try to build each other up and improve our world. That's all pretty simple. Notice it doesn't include judging, or harming others.
God loves us all.

I agree with the #9 answer. Man has made it complicated. To understand God is to know all He's asking is that we do the right thing and be honest. Sure, we all make mistakes along the way but that's what the emotions 'remorse' and 'forgiveness' is all about. We're supposed to learn from our mistakes and know how to do it right the next time.

Yes it is simple. When I finaly understand something... I will say , Oh God , it is so simple. I am amazed at the simplicity.
"You will find Me when you seek Me with all your heart." and. . . "Study to show thyself approved a workme that needeth not be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth." [Dake's Reference Bible] " Quietly trust yourself to Christ your Lord and if anybody asks why you believe as you do, be ready to tell him, and do it in a gentle and respectful way." [1 Peter 3:15 Living Bible]
I am not able to understand God. The first part of my search is to be filled with His Spirit. Another part is to receive the gift or gifts of the Spirit that are given to me so that I am anointed in one or more areas. The gifts of the Spirit are for ministry both to one another and to those outside. There is the gift of Revelation and the Word of Knowledge also Prophecy.
I pray to know God more and to love Him more. In His answer I find that I am willing to do His will and not my own. I trust Him.
Others do not understand and this God allows. Only those who seek Him with all their heart see [which means to know] Him.

Our faith is the light in our life that keeps us from getting lost. Jesus is the way the truth and the life in life for those who accept Him as their savior.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Gods words in the bible are our road map in life that if followed, you can never get lost. prasie the Lord!!

yes we do make it complicated. God uses simplicity so that we can understand. the Bible tells us that he uses the simple to confound the wise.
people try to theorize things to death, when the Lord said "my thoughts are not your thoughts"
we are to come with the faith of a child, that's pretty simple.

Get a mirror and look around you! Obviously we humans have this tendency to think too deeply into the problem that it's impossible to escape and put on a clear mind again!

I find that when faced with such questions, it is important to remember "Long's Postulate" - "In as much as I was not around to see how everything came into being (and neither were you),I say, "I don't know ..... YET!" To assume that some god, my less than intellectual ancestors made up, instantaneously farted the universe into being, is absurd."
