When I paint I always paint other people, and I get alot of comments that I seem to reflect myself in each of them. So I would probably paint a portrait of myself and see what I reflect in that one.
Also It's probably a greater challenge to paint yourself because for alot of people I think we don't often view ourselves as we actually appear to others.
