Indeed, but calling it oxymoronic would only lessen the stigma education suffered from the controversial debate over whether "creation science" should ever foray into education. Already, it has been termed "pseudo-science", obviously its fake and should not even be accepted as a form of science at all. A better word: Blasphemous!

Science is a search for knowledge. Creation Science is a search for knowledge that doesn't ignore facts because of a preconceived notion. The only reason that anybody ever believed in evolution is because they started with atheism, and came to the only logical conclusion from that wrong starting point. Evolution isn't supported by history, biology, archeology, or logic.

There's more scientific proof for creation than for evolution. So shouldn't evolutionary science be an oxymoron?

Worse than an oxymoron, it diminishes both concepts: God and Science. God becomes the ruler of the gaps science hasn't covered yet, and then has to retreat, via silly "re-interpretations," from where scientific findings are too overwhelming to deny.
In short, it's insulting to both. I suggest that those whose "faith" demands a reality that can be overthrown by scientific research have a very shallow faith. One is reminded of the "scriptural authorities" judging Galileo's as a blasphemer for posing a heliocentric model for the solar system. That has nothing to do with God and everything to do with ignorance.

Yes it is. Science is the fundamental way the universe works in detail. While creation is part of the bible which is suppose to be a user manual for life. It's only suppose to give you what basic needs to live your life. Like the user manuals for the microwave or your car. Dose your user manual for your car or microwave tell the physic on how and why your stuff works or only the stuff you need to know.

Creation is the origin of science. The Bible mixes mythology and legend in.
