They say that there is one true love for each individual. If you were truly in love but it didnt work out, will you ever be in love the same again, or will it just be the standard by which you judge all other loves?

Definately! Your 1st love may not be your true love. U can't honestly think that you'll never love again. Well, yeah at 1st u will think that, but after some time & serious reflection u will see the error of that relationship. When U do find true love it will work out. Yeah, u will use ur 1st love as a measuring standard but someday u will have found a new standard. And that love will surpass ur old love. Hang In There, It Will Work Out!

True love isn't limited to just one person... there are many people out there who love truly.
When a relationship doesn't work out, I'd say that the love of one partner wasn't really true.

No, there is not only one true love. Life is long, you'll have to face loss and victories. Each relationship has its specific special things and memories, and there can definitely be more than one true love for you. You just have to look for it and don't think about the past. What is gone is gone, forget about it and start looking for your new love.

Love = Understanding + care + respect + affection + faithful
+ loyal + patience

Be optimistic...be sure u meet a right person.
Meet a person who wants same things that u want in life..

I didnt get love yet..but I know I will get it!

Best of luck,
Cheers!

I believe that you take a little bit from each experience and you learn from it.
But if a situation does not work out there is always a reason.
Believe me I know but also remember that we are all destined to obtain happiness it may not always come in the most elaborate packaging but when it arrives you just know in your heart that it was worth the wait.

Unfortunately, you will judge all the others with your true love. Love is very powerful, and I believe it can withstand anything. But sometimes, we cannot live with that person. It maybe to intense.

You may have loved this person, but it obviously was not your one true love. Every relationship has its trials and tribulations. The love that lasts through it all and continues to grow stronger is your true love.

it's the standard you judge all other loves...i lost my first love 3 years ago and still haven't found anyone to even compare to him, i think it's a involuntary action that if you were in love before and lost then who ever you date there after you compare to the other....

I don't think so everybody is different you might not love the next person as much as you loved the last. And they could also do different things to make you fall in love with them.

Usually your first true love is b/s. I believe that you find it at least twice :)
