As you perform the succussion of the tea (or 'stirring') it becomes a homeopathic mixture, and the water molecules 'remember' the texture of the china.
As china molecules are so much smoother than your bog-standard ceramic molecules, a creamy pertness is infused into you tea which charms the taste buds and make your tea taste superlicious
Fabulous!!

its all psychological, you have heard that tea tastes better in a china cup so when you have some, you brain fools you into believeing that it tastes better. Also, the way you make it has an effect on it too. You may make it a different way in a china cup because you dont want it to shatter when you squeeze the bag against the side, of when you stir in your milk and sugar.
If you believe that it tastes better, then who am i (or anyone else) to tell you otherwise?
(Personally, I have a pint mug for my tea, but then again, Im wierd...)

Its more likely that the smell of the mug/cup is affecting the taste slightly.
Anyway - everybody knows Bagpuss is magic.

Apparently China keeps the tea warmer for longer! and allows the tea to circulate better giving a better taste- they always say put the milk in afterwards as well!- i dont know how I know this but i do

It is just your imagination playing tricks on you. A china mug has no magic in it.
