Since you have a square face, you'd probably need a cut that rounds out your jawline and forehead, so I would try any cut with either a deep side part, body at the crown, or below-jaw layers.

get about 2 inches longer than shoulder-length and ask them to do choppy layers throughout it. It will give your face a very nice frame and will make your face more narrow so it isnt just square. if you have very thick hair this is a nice cut because it will give your hair a little less fullness so it is easy to style and dry but is still nice and thick. :D try it.. it would be a nice cut for your face.
