it is much faster then the normal 32 bit versions, but the only thing is I cannot get any audio drivers for it or any other software to work with my hardware, now I am going to have to re-install windows 32 bit xp, what is the point of having a Amd 64 when windows doesn't have any drivers or support for any software or the hardware that we have, will windows 64 ever be ready to support all hardware, and software???

Its a new technology. It doesn't make business sense for most manufacturers to take the time to create drivers for 64 bit techs when the market share is so low. Linux has 64 bit support for many of its drivers, but most of the drivers are being created by open source projects, and are under development.

Windows X64 does have limited drivers for various devices. Unfortunately, it will be a few more years once a bigger customer base is developed in order create the momentum for such development
Moral of the story, always do your homework before jumping into a situation that may back you against the wall.

yes i agree YOU WOULD THINK ms would have their act together on that but this is a story known way to well to developers. Go to the OEM of each device not working first email them your problem, then while you wait for response dig into their support/forums/FAQs for 64 bit drivers.
