There shouldn't be a limit on love & affection!! It should be freely given, there should be lots of kisses & hugs, touches, small thoughtful things that say "I love you" just because you did them.
It's the glue that holds a relationship together & it's the best part.
I went without it for so long in my second marriage that I thought it would be a shock to my system to have someone behave affectionately towards me. My b/f is very loving & demonstrative & I'm making the adjustment quite nicely!!!

yes theres definately a limit,the reason why all these gurls are saying theer is no limit is because they have not truly experienced why there should be a limit. Most if not all the break-ups i have had was become my ex didn't know the limit. I had my ex's calling me early morning,mid morning,late morning,afternoon,mid-afternoon,later afternoon,evening,mid-evening,late evening,night,when they get back from work and after a while it becomes obsessive and quite irritating.And then i had a boyfriend that insisted on constantly hugging me,holding me,touching my face,looking in my eyes,it all just becomes excessive,so i'd say theres a definate limit. I think every girls just looking for a dude that won't check out other girls (while shes with you) for clingy girls, they'll need you constantly. There isn't a limit on how much love and affection a girl needs cause she needs alot of it. Ask anyone, its 100% true

Enough each day to make me feel loved and special, to have little things be recognized as important, and to know he's thinking of me... However, yes, there IS a limit. Being overbearing and constantly in my space makes me push away, and need more privacy.

As a woman I think I need lots. But yes there is a limit. Nobody likes a fart sniffer. Definition: someone who is always there to smell your farts. But what is your definition of love and affection? Are you talking about sex or cuddling?
