the question itself is indicative that you know you are addicted and you want to come out of it. that itself is a very good level unlike those who get annoyed if asked not to. so addiction is nothing but prioritising an existing habit. remember all the habits that you have so far in this living. example u may have at least one or two besides venturing into Internet. or why so, before you became addicted to Internet, you would have been practising music or concentrating more on your studies. now the only thing you have to do is not to say that you won't but Internet is also there available for you but then is least prioritised after doing other habits which are prioritised now. and even if that is not fruitful, try not to be alone, and if you are not with your parents spend time otherwise in admiring nature in the park and be in tune with nature. thank you! it is you who wanted the Internet and not the Internet wanted you and so the mental decision has to come only from within you, and you can, because u have started questioning and found that it is an addiction, good show you are a winner, all the best!!

I suppose you are addicted to internet for you rely on it as a time killing machine.
I would suggest you to get into sports, hanging out with friends, excercise ect.. and find an alternate way to kill your free time so that you dont come back everytime and sit in front of the same old machine and kill your time which is very precious
Human live for 70 years aproximately
70 x 365 =25550 days, 25550 x 24 = 61,3220 hours
Just imagine how much time you are wasting on the net and you will certainly want to do something more interesting rather then to sit on the Internet for hours wasting time.

Use the rational part of your mind more and more, even if you have to do so forcibly. Take note whether you are wanting to surf at times when you shouldn't be doing it. If so, then force yourself not to think about it. If you are surfing the net and are feeling that you have been doing it for quite a long time and yet are not being able to switch the computer off, then just command yourself sternly to log out and switch off the computer. Don't simply listen to that"other small voice in your head" which will advise you to do just the opposite. Remind yourself constantly that you will be able to surf the net peacefully only when you have taken good care of your other charges.
Good luck.

Simple.
Just pull out the plug and stop paying your bill to access it.
Put the junk in the store-room and let it collect dust on planet earth.
Then go out to the real world and enjoy the rain, sun, moon and stars on planet earth.
