i feel that way whenever i am particularly depressed.
its like only me can feel what it is like to hurt, and experience the pain that im feeling...
i feel like i am living in a bad dream, a nightmare...
and the only thing that is real is me...
we are like living in a flash of light...soon, we no longer exist...
it seems like everybody is living in a plane/universe of their own...

The reason why I think people make up imaginery friend, or any other imaginary perceptions for that thought, is because they are not satisfied with what is real. You have to come to terms with reality my friend. Living in complete isolation by only living in your own world can prevent you from many opportunities in life. Sure there are liars and hypocrites out there, but there are also good, honest people. Some may not appear so at first sight, but the only way to know for sure is to have a conversation with them and get to know them better. Without risks, there are no triumphs. Hope you can overcome this struggle bro.

Spudster ive thought this notion many times on occasion, but when i see the depth of emotion that others display around me, i know that its not something i could have made up myself in my own mind. I kind of dismissed this way of thinking as being self-centered. I think its good to be aware of your connection to other beings in the world, and youre effect on their welfare, but we have to accept that we are part of a much larger Real universe of beings.

I sometimes wonder why more people aren't nicer, kinder, more understanding, or better people. I figure they must be out there somewhere. I guess I just feel like God has a special plan for me... wish He'd let me in on it....
