When you go to the doctor while you're pregnant(which I presume she will at some point) they ask you if you've ever been pregnant before. And she would need to tell the doctor. But maybe she can do it while she's alone with the doctor? But they do ask.

WARNING and something to calm you (or your friend?) down.
The information you share with your doctor is now available on a computer that is accessed EVERY time you visit the doctor. Anyone in the room can read that screen. I know I can see my history each time, and also the names, ages and conditions of the last 7 women in the office before me. That stinks to me. You (she) should tell your doctor and she can tell her husband, too. He won't love her any less because she did that, he'd love her less if he knew she didn't trust him enough to share.
About her fear of conceiving, let her know with God all things are possible. I thought I was infertile (for good reason) but I'm sitting here with my second and my husband's 1st baby about to be born in 8 weeks. I went for fertility testing. The biggest thing here is TELLING THE DOC you (or your friend?) were pregnant before. Nothing was wrong then and guess what? ABORTION does NOT cause infertility, so she'll likely give her husband babies. Only the heart and mouth can reveal a past pregnancy or an abortion.
Peace.

First, you can conceive if you'd had an abortion in the past. Second, I'm not sure if the doc will be able to tell if you've aborted the past without performing an examination, if even then. You must tell your doc though about the abortion and by law, the doc cannot tell your hubby or anyone else.
I know you've been told this, but secrets do eventually come out. Good luck.

Her husband wont's know. At her prenatal appointments she does need to tell the Dr that she has had a previous pregnancy that was ended with an aboirtion. Other than that the Dr can't tell her husband
