I am saying no. I say that being a big New Testament sort of believer, and coming from the premise that Jesus was/is God.

So look at Jesus's friends--prostitutes, fishermen (who were just ordinary dudes), lepers, tax collectors, roman soldiers-- Christ wasn't judgmental on who his friends were or who would make into the kingdom of heaven.

What he got mad at was the judgmental. He totally ripped on Pharisees for being so legalistic and arrogant. He didn't like their "country-club" mentality about religion.

So maybe God is judgmental of the judgmental? I don't know. I think mostly He does not want to lose sight of what is important.
Compassion, taking care of the poor, loving those who live in suffering and poverty--sharing our gifts.

I will stop before I preach a sermon.

God is the judge, a just and perfect judge. He will one day judge everyone for every single thing they have ever said & done. If you believe that then its a scary thought, luckily for christians they have Jesus as one who took the punishment for their wrong deeds that they might be counted clean and innocent on the final day of judgement. Jesus first the sacrifice for sin, in his second coming (due this century I'd guess) stands as judge. Be assured unrepentant murderers, rapists, thieves etc. will be justly dealt with...if they weren't then wouldn't God be 'unfair' but God is also wonderfully merciful otherwise why send your beloved son to take the pain of the world's wrongdoing?

Sure He is, but who better to judge us than the One that created us and knows our hearts to the core of our being?

But that's the scary part, isn't it ... that His judgement is so perfect that when it's done there's no appeal, because you, He, and everyone else will know that it is correct and infallible. Tis that judgement that every believer looks forward to, and that same judgement that non-believers run from.

God is just in His judgements, but does not want to condemn anyone. That is why Jesus was sent. Every sin must be punished but God, as Jesus, took the punishment on himself so that we can stand before God and be judged innocent.

God (Jehovah/Yahweh) is slow to anger and very patient, a kind and loving God. And when Armageddon strikes it will be Jesus who will do the judging on God's behalf. The reason for this is because when he lived as a man he went through the same tests and temptations as a normal man, it is because of this that he will be left to judge us on our past sins,If the judging was left to Jehovah no one would get through Armageddon, what a fair and just God he is

No, it's just that Religious Leaders are and want to exert control over you by judging you themselves.

If there's a god up there - you'll find out on your last day just how judgemental it is!

Of course. God is omnipotent, remember? ;-) That means that he cannot have kids but other than that he can be whatever he wants, even Judgemental. (a judge with a mental disease?)
