P = Power in Watts
I = Current in Amps
E = Voltage in Volts
R = Resistance in Ohms

to figure Amps I = P/E, so 1200 Watts / 240 Volts = 5 Amps
to figure Ohms R = E/I, so 240 Volts / 5 Amps = 48 Ohms
