Lately I've been doing 1-minute walk 1-minute jog 1-minute run and alternating for 30 minutes. You can do it on a treadmill or outside. It helps time go by too because your constantly changing what your doing.

Riding a bike. I'm over 50 and ride mine 30 minutes every morning. Burns many more calories than walking and not as hard as running.

attempt swimming it will keep the load off your knee. whether you could no longer swim in basic terms get in and carry on the sting and kick your legs. As for treadmills i've got have been given an editorial on them called Are Treadmills A fat Burning disaster? right here is the link

Cycling... I love to cycle... I lose 1500 calories a day just by cycling. No other exercise comes close. I also run, but I'd have to run for 10 miles to burn a similar number of calories. Unrealistic! Cycling is the way to go. Trust me.

when you are smoking make sure you inhale and hold the smoke in your lungs as long as you can.
Or when you get take away from macdonalds see if you can fit a whole cheeseburger into your mouth and swallow it over a period of time work up to a big mac.
