I usually remember my mom when interacting with my own kids, comparing her much to me then when facing my kids. Even thou my mom is still alive, I don't see her or even talk to her much. But that's just based on her choice, not mine.

I remember my dad often, as I'd been very close to him. He was my best buddy, friend and source of comfort and wisdom. He died a few years back, and I really miss him, almost every day in my life.

I remember my mother when I say something to my daughter in the EXACT same way my ma used to say it to me. It's scarey sometimes!
I remember my father when I think about my morals & values he taught me, also when something goes wrong with my electricity! lol, Dad's an electrician!
