You can't look at it in a short term way. Its a life change that needs to be done. Dieting and exersize is the best way to be fit but you have to stick to it. Always. Its a mind frame you have to get used to. You can do it if you really want to. Working out will build muscle but in order to lose weight you have to burn calories. Find a way to make it fun. Get someone equally interested and try not to do it alone. Motivate each other. Or meet someone at aerobics or the gym that you like. Stay away from the junk food. There is no reason to be shy about going to a gym, in shape or not. Everyone is there for a reason.

2 weeks? You're not likely to see any results after 2 weeks. You may lose 4-5 pounds, that's it, but it's barely noticable.

It all depends how fat you are now. I.e. what's your body fat percentage now? In order to see your six-pack abs, you need to have 15% body fat if you're a woman, and 10% if you're a man. If you're currently at 30% body fat, it might take you 3-4 months to get there.

A typical human loses only 2-3 pounds per week.
