Tried to dispose of rubbish at Wynard Rail station today but was informed by Newsagency that I have to go outside station & use street bins as all garbage bins were removed. The owner of newsagency wouldn't even let me use his, as I am disabled I found it very difficult to re-climb the stairs, so I took it home, no wonder our streets & stations are dirty, what ever happened to KEEP AUSTRALIA BEAUTIFUL. They make it very hard to do so.

I hope I am wrong - but I have heard it is because THINGS can be left and put in garbage bins. If this is the case - it is yet another sad case. I sort of hope it is because the Railways are trying to cut down on costs - that would be the better of the two options. You know what - you are a thoughtful person - wish there were more like you here in this beautiful country.

It is very sad that we cant provide bins for the public due to security reasons, why does it mean there should be no alternative to keep Australia beautiful, they should have more 'work for the dole' schemes in place to maybe collect the rubbish or something, i no thats not a great suggestion, but you get what im trying to say right? i will be thinking of an appropriate solution for days now! our government eliminates one problem, and creates a heap more that wont be delt with until its to late.

as with most central london railway stations, maybe it is to prevent the planting of bombs? In london you wont find a bin in a 100 metre radius of a station so that suspect packages cannot be left in them

there are no bins at Wynard of any underground in Sydney as i am sure this is how it is all over the world because of the idiots who want to put bombs in them and kill everybody
This is the state of the world and its only going to get worse and while we have all the bleeding hearts who make excuses for these pathetic filth it wont change
