Nothing is better than Star Wars!
When I'm not watching those movies, I enjoy Star Trek:TNG, and the Back To The Future series.
Any time travel is very cool, too.

blade runner was a great movie. so was "the man who fell to earth". for books "rendevous with Rama" and "martian chronicles". for the series I agree with you. star trek. but for me it's next generation because of the character of the BORG. my vote for the best SF character ever. after capt nemo of course.
