No, in fact I've have gay couples who are friends and they've remained together when my straight couple friends have divorced two fold!! Some have children and I can see how well these children are cared for as well as loved. They've grown up being very well adapted and have gone on to lead productive lives. Facts show straight marriages usually end in divorce at a rate of 50%!! So tell me where gay marriage is a threat to that institution!!

People are just different and have different ideas about what is acceptable in an intimate relationship. There are very many factors that define one's views on monogamy. Whether a couple is more or less monogamous doesn't necessarily depend on the partners' sexuality or religion, although the latter may influence the course the relationship takes to some extent.

Your question has a false premise, they are not couples, they are just two people of the same sex having elicit sex.
Because society says they are couples or it's o.k. doesn't mean anything. They are just sinners much of society has no problem with. much of society has no problems with drugs but that doesn't mean they are good or normal. Much of society has no problem with killing babies or old people but that doesn't mean it's right.
The USA was formed as a republic because the majority is not always correct and should not rule. All those who think we should do what the majority thinks is correct may not like what the majority decides.
Don't get me wrong, I don't hate homosexuals, I just know it's a sin, no more, no less. You can call it what ever you wish but it will still be a sin.
It's so funny in a way. Society says homosexuals are born that way and can't change. The same society says pedophiles can change and should not be locked away. Which one is not a sexual preference? Which one is not a choice?
Think for yourselves folks, use your mind for something besides following what this world says feels good.

Had to rephrase the question I see.
Anyway, not knowing for sure, I would still say no.
With most that profess christianity, not being taught all they need to know about marriage, the divorce rate is high.
James Dobson said one time, ' Couples that read the Bible together daily are 800 times less likely to divorce.'
I think he is correct

Of course not. You're just being told that gay people are bad because people are ignorant, afraid of difference and just plain stupid.
