Jim..in case you haven't noticed, there is no BURNINg hell...the Bible hell is the grave. Jesus caleed it , like sleep, because he is going to wake up the dead; John 5:28,29.
The lake of fire is symbolic for the second DEATH...not eternal torture; Rev 20:14
Burning Hell is a lie (from Satan) to get people to hate God. And in mankinds history, it was adopted from mythology into the Catholic church in the third century.

Hehehe...it's rare that I agree with an excited Christian, but if the whacky Revelations ending is coming, and the god it promises really exists, then I'm with Blazer, in a weird way - BRING IT ON, and let's see how the chips fall. And I will stand for the right of human beings to be considered a force in the universe, worth more than sheepish fear and devotion, until I can stand no more. The god of Armageddon may yet have the power to silence and to punish me, but if he does, he proves his own tyranny, and victory is mine. If he will acknowledge the place of humanity, then I will yet kneel, and serve, and sing. The question is, is HE ready to be judged?
