No. You can't tell people how to dress, so long as it's not indecent, then there shouldn't be a problem.

I don't think they should be banned any more than wearing a cross necklace, a pentagram T-shirt, a button supporting a political party, or a snarky bumper sticker.

Whether or not you agree with the beliefs of the religion (/political party/agenda group/whatever), it's their right to express it as they wish in a way that isn't violent or harmful to others. And no, the argument of "it harms me to see them covered" or anything along those lines is silly. It's their own business, and since people can wear the clothes they wish as long as they don't violate public indecency laws, then it's perfectly all right to display your own customs and religious beliefs in the way they dress. Unless we plan on getting public uniforms for everyone to wear too, there's always the chance you're offending someone with your clothing in some fashion. It's a slippery-slope to ban one form of wearing clothes, or religious expression. What will go next? Who will pick a nit next? Who will make an issue next?

It's best to leave that face covered.

no they shouldn't be banned, what happend to the whole freedom to practise you're religon? (and no practising your religon does not mean killing people and blowing things up if anyone believes the people that do this are actually following any religon at all then they are very mistaken). However going as far as covering the face is not neccesary, not even in islam, in islam it is only compulsory to cover ur head and not wear revealing clothes the covering of the face is optional, and because it is optional I think at this time they should not cover their whole face but carry on covering their heads and wearing the traditional garments, and this is coming from a muslim.

I have to go with Pangel on this one. I would much rather see hijab than some of the outfits I saw at the public pool with my sons this year!
