Now we both know this is a violation of civil rights, and freedom of speech and religion. For the ignorant, not all Muslims are terrorists, a true Muslim doesn't believe in harming anyone. What actions can I do to get the attention of someone in power that actually would care?

Why do you think that prisoners should have any rights?
A true muslim would kill because it is said to do so in the Quran. So a harmless muslim is not a true muslim.
Please correct me if I am wrong. I have not read the Quran. However, the people I know that have, said that the Quran states if a person is not a muslim, they should be killed. Just to let you know my response is based on what I have read in news articles and told by people who claim to be educated about the Quran.
Your correct the question is prisoners rights.
Prisoner have rights. Did you know that most court systems are clogged with lawsuits filed by prisoners? Prisoners have a lot of free time. They learn and teach other prisoners how to file lawsuits. One lawsuit filed by a prisoner was a complaint on what type of desserts the prison offered. The worst part is that they win some of these suits.
Prisons provide free excercise facilities. One activity is weight lifting. Now violent criminals get stronger and more agile to be able to better commit more violent crimes.
Prisoners should have no rights after conviction!!! Who cares if the jails are overcrowded? Make them sleep in shifts so that they can hold 3 times current capacities. Give them bland but nutritious food. No TV, only books and newspapers.
I find it correct that they don't allow the Quran in prisons. Its a violent religion that goes against the objectives of a peaceful world.

Look... maybe not all Muslims are terrorists.
But the majority of terrorists are MUSLIMS.
You Muslims have a choice... either:
1) Stop whining about the YOUR KIND trashing your reputation and the way you are perceived... or
2) do something about it.
I hear Muslims talk all the time... regarding... 'HOW WE are not like that"... But I never hear Muslims DENOUNCE the actions of others.
Even HERE you did not start... "AS a MUSLIM I find TERRORISM UNACCEPTABLE".... you didn't say... It's deplorable and I would never do it.
Either Police your own... and DENOUNCE those amongst you who act unacceptable or... SHUT THE HELL UP.

Yes you are right,not all Muslims are terrorists-but now you see all the problems and you have to accept that most of the terrorists are Muslims,no one can correct this.except Muslims..

We live in dangerous times, were many right winged illiterates have spread their fear and hate towards the new "enemy": The entire Muslim civilization of the world. The results of any actions you could take would be disappointing.
But you could try anyway. You could take the matter to the congressman/woman you voted for and hope for the best.

I would like some actual cites on your claim - it seems unlikely.
As to the first poster's asinine statement, not all terrorists are Muslim. There are plenty of Catholic, Protestant, Sikh, Atheist and Jewish terrorists.

If a person is put into prison, It's because he/she has violated
laws or someone elses human/civil rights, and as such, that
person should lose all rights civil or human untill the prison
sentence is completed.

Umm, you do know she is talking about people in prison, and guess what people... they have NO rights! They are stiped of those rights along with their dignity when they murder, rape, molest babies, and the list goes on.. So I personally do not care if they don't get to wear their little hats in PRISON..
They lost their rights, just remember that, and for good reason!.. They want to pray, they know how to do it without their little beanie hat

It's prison. Not the mall. Get over yourself. Criminals should have no rights at all....they already broke the laws which is why they are there! Anyone truly wanting to be holy wouldn't need oustide 'stuff' to do it with. What a crybaby.
