It just so happens that I know a little about the war by watching a lot of History Channel and that is, Israel attacked Lebanon in the name of whipping out Hezbollah and they failed to do that and then they backed down.
A person with common sense will come to the same conclusion that this guy did. I do not agree with this guy's views at many places but these comment to make sense.
You might be shocked to findout that 90% of Hezbollah's power is not women and infants.

In a sense, he has won. Do you think his objective was to wipe out Israel? Probably not. He can, however, now gain sympathy from the rest of the Muslim world. This whole thing is helping to radicalize the Middle East. His goal wasn't to win, but to divide, and he's done that quite well.

Israel attacked lebonon not to destroy hesbollah. To theft the water in the litani river, where israel has scarcity of water. It was a clear plan done by israel and US six years before, during israel quits lebonon 2006. If israel wiped out of 90% of hesbollah, why not they wiped of hesbollah. The roots are dangerous. If they destroy hesbolloh even 25%, it is sure that they will wipe hesbollah out. But they cannot.

Nasrollah's Remarks on Hezbollah victory
Following the victory of the Lebanon’s Islamic Resistance Movement against the massive Zionist invasion and the admission the usurper state of Israel to its failures in Lebanon, an atmosphere of happiness coupled with strong will and determination dominates all Lebanon today. Hezbollah Secretary General Seyed Hasan Nasrollah sent a congratulations message to the Lebanese people reiterating that the Lebanese people once again gained a historic victory over the illegal Zionist entity. He said this victory is indebted to the heroic struggle of the Islamic Resistance forces of Lebanon. He said maintaining unity for building a strong country is necessary and called on the people of Lebanon to maintain their awareness for safeguarding the achievements of the Islamic Resistance. He stressed continued resistance toward possible Zionist threats and invasions and said Hezbollah will lead the way in reconstructing Lebanon and helping its people. He warned of mischief in Lebanon by the Zionist entity and its godfather, the US, stressing the need to strengthen the defensive might of Lebanon's Islamic Resistance Movement.
Meanwhile, confusion and despair reigns in the Zionist community following the defeat of Israel in its war against the Hezbollah. Zionist officials say they intend to study the reasons for this defeat that led to heavy losses. Zionist premier Ehud Olmert admitted amid hecklings in a tension-charged extraordinary session of Knesset, that painful blows have been inflicted on Israel. According to the Zionist regime losses to the tune of $11 billion have been inflicted on Israel in its 34-day war, apart from the military sector's losses, and the fact that 850 Israeli soldiers have been killed or wounded. The Zionist daily Jerusalem Post wrote of a possible fall of the Olmert cabinet soon. The developments in the Middle East are definitely not to the liking of the US and Zionist entity, and these two defeated elements intend to find an opportunity to make up for their failures. These two advocates of state terrorism are scheming to eliminate the legendry anti-terrorism movement Hezbollah through diplomatic means by creating division and mischief in Lebanon, plots about which Seyed Hasan Nasrollah has issued warnings

I hate the idea that innocent people will die again and again for the actions of a few evil people. The UN has almost assured that this terrible war will continue. Hezbollah will again move to take it's revenge on Israel.. Israel will again move to smash them. Again people of all ages will die. It is beyond me why, after all the years Israel has been in that part of the world, that the other nation can't understand She has the right to exist there. That's all it would take Israel doesn't like the suicide bombers, the car bombs, and their people being kidnapped to attempt to force her into releasing criminals who will again try to destroy her if they are released. Israel has the only real military in that area. of course when she is attacked her army smashes the enemy.. I pray this will stop now but I don't have much faith in the peaceful intent of Hezbollah....Jim

Well for one thing the 90% reduction of fighting power is speculation. What the president of Iran said was that the survival of Hesbollah meant that they had won, which is a very true statement. You should read the whole interview. The President of Iran is certainly no dummy.

dont u think u should worry about ur country rather than some1 elses. there are so many unemployed and poor people in all countries.
try educating them and get them a job. that will solve all of the problems in the world.
instead of buying nuclear weapons and plutonium buy someone some food, clothes and books. trust me that will make a lot of difference in this world.

Zionists are terrorists.
Given the fact Israel accomplished none of its stated goals, Israel clearly lost the "war."
Wanton destruction and murdering innocent civilians is hardly an indicator of "winning." If we use that standard, Saddam Hussein "won" the "Gulf War."
The US & Israel are the two most violently terroristic nations on the planet today.
