I'm not certain what Christianity has to do with monogamy. I was in a monogamous gay relationship for 11 years (until my partner died of cancer). Neither of us were (or are) Christians. Monogamy is simply one manifestation of a committed relationship, and although gay couples cannot marry in most states, there's no indication that Christianity among straight couples leads to marital stability. Nor marital fidelity.

As a matter of fact, divorce rates are highest in the states where church attendance is highest, and lowest in states where church attendance is more rare. And for those who report a religious affiliation, atheists are less likely to get divorced than are Christians. Porn addiction among Christians is emerging as a serious problem, and to many women, this is an indication of reduced commitment to monogamy.

The research among gay couples is not readily available, but if Christianity has so little influence on the conduct of straight married people, I would hypothesize little or no impact on gay Christian couples.

monogamous gay Christian?

English Standard Version

1Co 6:9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality,
1Co 6:10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

1Ti 1:10 the sexually immoral, men who practice homosexuality, enslavers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine,

When they quit that stuff, then the following verse kicks in;
1Co 6:11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

Another reminder about sexual immorality

1Co 6:13 "Food is meant for the stomach and the stomach for food"--and God will destroy both one and the other. The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.

There is no difference between the two nor would there be any difference between them and any other group of people. Being faithful to another is not dependent on sexuality.

Gay & Christian can not go together. You might be Gay & believe in Jesus Christ but you are a sinner in the eyes of God.
