Is it true that by stepping out of a magic circle without proper invocation and ceremony, you are likely to get attacked by a great many demons that are attracted around the circle while you perform your operation?

No. You will, however, disperse all the energy that you were building up in the circle and waste all your work.

However, if you're evoking demons, and you screw up, the demon is more likely to point and laugh than attack. It depends on the demon.

Yes, definitely. Performing a ceremony where any kind of evil / supernatural things are performed the devil is in charge there - and where you allow him, there you give the demons "permission" to make contact with you.

If you pray to God while stepping out and give you life to Him right there nothing that is evil can touch you.

You may get attacked, but depending upon your skill, you might be able to sufficiently deal with the attack.
Some people work with out physical circle, they simply create a circle of energy.

I wouldnt recommend that when working with anything "buggy", like the necronomicon, if you are going to play, play by the rules.
