my drive C is full ,but drive D is empty,I want to send some files directly from drive C to drive D to free drive C for more downloads or more special works.

cut from c:/ and paste in d:/ just make sure u dont touch the following folder:
program files
windows
temp
temporary internet files... others r welcome to add something in case i left out any other important folder....

Select the file you want to move from C Drive. Right click on the file. Go to D Drive and right click where you want to move the file
and then click paste. By this way you can move the files from
one drive to another

Well if u mean u want to move ur OS to d then frst of all format ur C: and reinstall in D: when prompted. But u must keep ur boot drive as C bcos thats where is primary partition and active and has MBR ie master boot record.

If u want to move to other files then u can do by cut/paste or move command at yr dos

right click on desired files or folders
select cut
goto D
select edit/paste.

cut & paste, but make sure those r not system files or else ur system won't work.
