There are some bumps (humps) that after a while they disappear all by themselves, but sometimes it is best to see a doctor and let him give you his opinion on the matter. It it is cancer (which probably it's not) it is better to know and get it treated in the early stages. So the sooner you know the better.
And by the way; you can get cancer from bruises and bumps, remember that cancer is degeneration and mutation of the cells,(necrosis- which means dead cells) , that mutation can and will affects other cells; that it is why it's better to get it treated on time.

Hi there !
You need to get the opinion from a good general surgeon immediately.
You have mentioned that swelling is increasing in size. With its proximity to the neck and head region, dont play the waiting game.
Maybe that its only a benign fibroma, as you said, but, always better to rule out the other conditions first ! Right ?
All the best ..

i would go see a doctor about that mate, because not meaning to scare you, but if you have a had a bump to the head that could be something to look at. Because i have heard of people having aneurysms. My nephew had a friend who was only 12 die of an aneurysm after a heavy fall to the head but he didn't die till a while later, its just a ticking time bomb. Just go and see about it anyway, i wouldn't trust anything when it comes to the knock of the head.

It is imperative that you go see a doctor as soon as possible. While what you have could be a benign tumor, a cyst, or even a goiter, it could be a tumor in your lymph node.
Please, the sooner you get it checked out the better.

Every body has a curved spine. You may well have whats called a cyst. ugly to see but most times not harm-full. a lot of people (including me) have them on there head or forehead. it would seem obvious to me that you should have your family doctor take a look at it.

Bumping your head does not cause cancer (unless you bumped it onto something radioactive.)
