I take it the pup is still drinking on the mother if not, stop giving him water with a syringe, and just feed him his food and when he is thirsty then he will start drinking, the food I take it is rather mushie cause you are feeding a pup, so the puppy is getting liquids in and that is why he isn't drinking anything, don't force the pup to drink when he is good and ready he will drink or when he is thirsty enough he will start to drink

He is in the weaning stages and is still used to sucklin.
Simply mix water with a little bit of pasty canned dog food...so it is very diluted. Place a small amount in a dish and allow him to lap it...he still has to learn how to eat and drink that way. It can also be a broth from cooking beef (no salt or spices). These taste better and he will soon be drinking like all other dogs.

of route he's (they?) getting adequate liquid from his present day food/milk without desiring to take up water from his water-bowl. in case you provide him milk, use goats milk it really is closest in make-as a lot as b itch milk. do no longer use cow's milk and actually by technique of seven weeks, pups shouldn't truly desire milk, except for possibly a milky drink very last ingredient for some more effective weeks. and also you'll do some distance more effective efficient to be making use of a good high quality pup food somewhat than feeding a house-made food. turning out to be pups desire more effective than merely boiled rice and so on. - there might want to be some supplementations blanketed. you may want to inspite of the undeniable fact that, analyze more effective into what might want to be a more effective complete weightloss plan, in case you opt to proceed to feed abode-made food to those pups. upload - in case you project he (back they?) might want to be dehydrated, do the tent try - raise a touch pores and skin from his neck and be conscious if it is going back on the prompt, or remains 'tented'. if so, then definite, he does desire more effective fluids. in the different case do not project - my wager is with each and each of the water you're giving (food soaked in water?) and the milk blend drink, he's doing fantastic - except for this isn't an complete adequate weightloss plan.

This might sound a little harsh, but I'd stop giving it to him that way. When he gets thirsty enough he'll learn.
