No, its the most dangerous way to lose weight.
If you don't eat anything or very small quantities for little while, your body would try to keep the fat in order to "fuel" its basic operations. The only things you would lose are muscle fibers.

Yes starvation is the fastest way to lose weight, but you'd gain it all back. You can't survive a month on just water. If you have enough will power to withstand the pain of starving though, I'd recommend doing it the right way. Its easier and more permanant.

yes you can lose craploads like that - i've done it before but i have to admit that although i felt sexy and in control i also felt sick most of the time and nearly fainted on several occasion, also you get bad breath form the acid in your stomach. You can get loads of future health problems and if you do start eating again you'll pile the pounds back on.
Can i suggest that you go on a homemade soup diet? For instance, if you have in the hot weather cold carrot soup (which is really yummy) for lunch and dinner then you can lose at least 2lbs a day.
To make a good soup is easy, you don't have to use fat, just boil up veggies and blend them or mash them with the water you boiled them in, maybe add a little low fat milk. The trick to making it taste great is in the seasoning.
The first week is the hardest as your stomach has to shrink and your body craves all the fat you're depriving it of!
Good Luck!

No you couldn't live with out food for a month!!! Just watch what you eat & exercise! A friend of mine that is in the military said that eating 5 or 6 small meals a day keeps your metabolism constantly going...
DO NOT starve yourself... Eat atleast 3 meals a day!
I wanted to loose weight & ate only once a day & I wandered why I wasn't loosing much of anything... ?? Well pretty much my body thought I was starving it & held on to the calories that I did consume!!! It sucks cuz when I decided to start eating normal again I gained some weight until my body knew I wasn't starving it to death!!!!!! Then my matabolism decided to start working again & burning off calories!!!

Sure it's the fastest way. Its also the LEAST effective and most dangerous way. DONT try it. And if you starved yourself for a month you would probably die within the week. Food is your fuel and without it you have no energy. you NEED energy to breathe, to think, to move, to get up in the morning, for EVERYTHING you do. The first few days that you eat nothing your body will start burning up the excess sugar in your body, that is to say, your glycogen in the liver and the fat deposits around your muscles, around your kidneys and in your abdominal area (tummy). Yes, you'll lose weight. But shortly after that your body's defense system will slow your metabolism down so that you lose as LITTLE weight as possible. This the body does to ensure that you don't DIE. If you continue the starvation, your body will have to start breaking down muscles and tissues for energy. This is disastrous for you. Starvation could lead to malnutrition (anorexia is no joke) and various deficiency diseases from lack of vitamins, eg. anaemia (too little or no iron prevents your blood from carrying oxygen molecules around the body and you can't do anything without oxygen). Honestly, if you lose weight this way you will gain it very quickly afterwards, I know 'cause it happened to a friend of mine. After her crazy diet she ended up even fatter than how she began. If you want to lose weight just cut down on your portions little by little and exercise. Better yet, go to a dietologist.
ps: fat may make us a little plump but it is absolutely necessary for energy, for protecting organs from physical damage, for enabling vitamins to do their job, and for insulation (warmth). Just eat it in reasonable quantities. No food group is dispensable. You need a bit of everything so the homemade soup diet sounds risky, because it's just veggies and water.

Secondly you may consume lunch. in case you have a sandwich for lunch you will dissipate what you consume via being greater lively interior the afternoon. you will think of greater clever and could be happier too. via thinking in terms of small words of advancements to weight loss plan and execise you will succeed. in case you attempt to do each and every thing at as quickly because it rather is going to crush you and it rather is not any longer very healthy. do no longer forget approximately what you're ingesting is as substantial as what you're ingesting. terrific of luck.
