I didn't believe it was until I met Jesus for myself and now I read it with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. You can't take it ALL literally of course, it says Jesus is the door but I don't believe He is made of wood and hinges! It takes a while to seek out what some of the Scriptures mean, but I don't spend my whole life questioning every little thing in the Bible, because I'm a black and white person ie I know God is real, I know the Bible was written by the power of the Spirit, and therefore my puny human mind, whilst having the right to question things, has chosen to take it as it is. I have found nothing in the Bible I can't cope with, even creation.

The Bible is more than 2000 years old, alot of people have tried to erase it from the face of the Earth: from Roman Emperors to Post-modern lunatics. Yet the Bible is still here. No one has successfully eradicated it. Instead, those who tried to destroy it are the ones swept away. But its endurance throughout History proves its resilience not its truth.
Yes the Bible is true. It is THE Truth of Life itself: how to live, and why to live in a decaying world with broken down people. The Bible leads a man to discover the other truths about nature: the physical world. Thus the Bible is The Truth that pushes man to know other truths existing in time.
Some people find it hard to accept if someone tells them, “just believe it because I said so.” I also can’t accept that crap. Thus instead of criticizing the Bible’s veracity based on the lives of inconsistent Christians, why not read the Bible for yourself? Ask Christians who have been believing the words in it for 10 to 20 years. Ask them why they continue to believe this book.
Perhaps they will tell you that the truth of the Bible is not only in the words written there: but in its consistent and powerful effect on their lives. The obvious freedom from the chaining habit of self-damaging behavior and other-people damaging behavior are just one of the living proofs the Bible is true to its word; rather true to His word: because the Bible is Jesus Himself. As a Christian reads and obeys what He reads, he knows that the Bible’s indeed true.
Anybody who tells the Bible is not true without sincerely considering the words written in it with an open mind and heart, is not qualified to say the Bible is false. To those who have considered to read it without prejudice or hate, either abandon the Bible or follow it: but both will say the Bible is true. They abandon or follow on the basis of the truth they discover in it, not on its falsity or doctrinal inconsistency.
I am Christian.

The Bible is Precisely True!
The Bible is that big, old looking book that recide in most Christian homes but never read. But it is more than just and old looking old book, The Bible is full of adventure, mystery, and rules, statute, laws, command that we should all follow. But most importantly, everywhere you look in the Bible, you will find a promise from God. The Old Testament book Promised that God would create a better covenant and that a saviour of this world would be coming. In The New Testament God Promise has been fulfilled in the coming of The Saviour. It was not written by just one person alone, but was written by 40 different authors at different point in time -- each one of them guided by God.
The Old Testament books, is the story of the beginning of the Universe and the creation of man. It tells us a different kind or type of dispensation in time, 1) The dateless past 2) The chaotic and ante-chaotic ages 3) The deluvian age 4) the Ante deluvian age 5)The dispensation of Inocense 6) The dispensation of Law 7) The dispensation of grace to name a few, and the last would be 8) The Eternal perfect state of man.
The New Testament Tells us about the Salvation of Man, which brings about the sending of God of his only begotten son Jesus to bridge the gap between man and God. Since Man cannot be save by the rituals of the law, Jesus came to fulfill the requirements of the law and died, buried, and rose again from the dead, his ascension make him the mediator, a priest who constantly pray and intercede on our behalf.
It tells also of the destiny of the wicked, and the reward of those who continously steadfast in the teaching of Jesus. The gates of hell has been devulge, and the paradise who have been lost through sins have been regained through Jesus resurrections.
Jesus illustrates the relationship between doctrine and practice when he says in John 13:17 "If ye know this things, happy are ye if ye do them."
Doctrine is never taught in the Bible simply that it may be known - it is taught in order that it may be translated into practice
The objectives of the scripture (Bible) is for the mind of man to be renewed spiritualy (Romans 8) it is not merely a collections of Ideas but a transformed life.
Compare the bible to any related books by the religion of the world. The Bible is the only books that tells us "There is life after death" and also tells us "There is death after life"
Incredible isn't it!

That is for you to decide what you belive and what you don't.
There are many different bibles and not all of them agree on everything. I'm not talking Tora and Korran, I'm talking Holy Bible to Holy Bible.
This is because it's been "changed" over the years for various reasons both "good" and "bad". As far as what you believe is up to you.
I sugest reading the material from various different sources, finding what agrees and what you like.
Religion is not about truth, it's about faith.

The Old Testament is claimed to be the Literal, divine, word of God. Funny that there should be so many inconsistencies in it then. The so-called new testament is mostly the heroes/villains of the piece desparately trying to justify themselves and create a power base before the Romans finally caught and executed them. So, by all means accept the OT if you so wish but be aware that the NT is a political harangue designed to encoursge people to revolt against their natural masters (at that time anyway).

Actually the Holy Bible was true when It was first came from the God through His Messenger.
But now we don't have the original one.
Now there are more than one Bilbles I think there are four of them, so we can easily understand that its hard to know which one is real or no one is real.

Clearly, it is. Humans did not evolve, but were created from dirt. A virgin got pregnant and gave birth to the Messiah who later walked on water. The creator of the universe got frustrated and flooded the entire planet, leaving Noah with a boat filled with both sexes from every species of animal life. How could it NOT be true?

Yes it is!
Why do you think it has been the all time best seller through all the ages.
All the prophecies in the Bible has come to pass and I tell you more will come true in the near future.
Just watch the changes in the seasons and the war in the Middle East.
