I'd say yeah. Many of the laws are similar in nature...sabbath, prayer, monotheism, prophets, holy lands, sacrifices, food and hygiene.

BUT THEY CAN'T SEEM TO GET ALONG!!! That's another discussion and would get ugly if not moderated well.

Both are humans (if both sides agree with this), both are believers of great religions, the leaders (Mohammad "peace be upon him" & Moses) were the ancestors of Abraham, so they are similar to each other.
However, Muslims practice Islam (The latest & final version of all great religions including Judaism & Christianity), while Jews practice Judaism.

no. they are different. as a Muslim, i never felt that i've been "whacked out" by Islam (as somebody put it). in fact, Islam has never failed to make me feel at peace n happy... =)

here's a poem i would like to share:

When I say. . .I am a Muslim,
I'm not shouting " down with Christians and Jews."
I am whispering "I seek peace,"
and Islam is the path that I choose.

When I say. . . I am a Muslim,
I speak of this with pride.
And confess that sometimes I stumble,
and need Allah to be my guide.

When I say. . .I am a Muslim,
I know this makes me strong.
And in those times when I am weak,
I pray to Allah for strength to carry on.

When I say. . . I am a Muslim,
I'm not boasting of success.
I'm acknowledging that Allah has rescued me,
and I cannot ever repay the debt.

When I say. . .I am a Muslim,
I'm not claiming to be perfect.
My flaws are indeed visible,
but Allah forgives because his followers are worth it.

When I say. . .I am a Muslim,
it does not mean I will never feel pain.
I still have my share of heartaches,
which is why I invoke Allah's name.

When I say. . .I am a Muslim,
I do not wish to judge.
I have no such authority
My duty is to submit to Allah's all-encompassing love. =)

Im muslim. I think their certain practice is quiet similar to us.
Arab and Jew comes from the same ancestor, Abraham.

Both are monotheistic .( submission to a single God )
Both eat only slaughter meat.
Both hav halal food( it is called koscher in judaism)
Both circumcised.
Both wear cap and beard( the one who is more pious)
Their language has the same root ( arab and aramaic), even the writing is quite similar in appearance.

Yes we are. Jews, Christians and muslim, all share a coman belive of one GOD, day of judgement, heaven, hell etc.
Jews are the followers of Moses (peace be upon him),
and christians follow the path shown by Jesus (peace be upon him) where as we muslims belive in all the prophets mentions in in the bible from adam to noah, noah to Abraham, from Abraham to Moses, Solomen, David, Jesus, etc.
we belive that all these were the mighty messengers of allah and Bible is the word of GOD. But Porphet Mohammed is the last messenger of GOD and quran is the last and final revelation from the almighty.
We muslims are more jewish and more christians then the jews and christians themself. its another story that jews and christians dont follow whats is written in their holy scriptures.

There are similarities such as monoethism etc, but of course, there are huge differences too. That's why they're not the same religion.

I think there are some similarities -- like monotheism -- but a lot of differences too.

Yes they are. Both are non-Christian, non-believers who need to receive the good news of the gospel.

They both deny Christ and they both worship a false god.
Both of them will also end up in the same place when they die, and it won't be a good place.
